Elements that complement the architecture also play an important role in the design of modern residential buildings. These include outdoor furnishings, greenery and solutions for separating individual areas. At the Sunny Grove Vojnik residential complex, Flamula metal planters were selected to define the space between private terraces and shared areas. The project was carried out by Peor gradbeno podjetje Celje d.o.o. Anthracite-coloured planters were used for the landscaping, complementing the building’s contemporary appearance.
Planters as part of the outdoor design
Sončni Gaj Vojnik combines a white façade, wooden cladding and dark anthracite elements. When choosing the planters, it was therefore important that their colour and shape matched the existing architecture. The selected planters in RAL 7016FS coordinate with the window frames, balcony railings and other dark details of the building. Around the terraces and entrances, they serve more than just as containers for plants. They also create a visual barrier between the private terraces of the ground-floor apartments and the shared areas. The greenery provides residents with a little more privacy while keeping the space open and well organised.
Two planter sizes were used for the project: 30 × 120 × 60 cm and 30 × 80 × 60 cm. Both versions are finished in anthracite RAL 7016FS. Different dimensions make it possible to adapt the planters to the layout of the outdoor areas. This modular approach is also useful for other residential or commercial projects where outdoor elements need to fit different entrances, terraces and passageways.
Metal planters for outdoor use
Outdoor planters are exposed to changing weather conditions. Rain, sunlight, frost and snow require materials that are suitable for long-term use throughout the year. Flamula metal planters are functional, durable and modern. They are suitable for residential complexes, balconies, terraces, gardens and commercial spaces. Their minimalist design allows them to fit into a variety of architectural concepts. Flamula has been processing metal with precision for more than 25 years. Precision sheet metal manufacturing
CNC punching allows precise openings for drainage, technical solutions and other elements to be produced. During sheet metal bending, individual parts are shaped to the required angles and dimensions. This ensures the appropriate shape and stability of the finished product. Since every project has different requirements, Flamula also manufactures custom-made planters. Customers can specify the length, width and height of the planter and choose from different materials, including galvanised sheet metal and aluminium.
The planters are powder coated, with colours from the RAL colour chart and different finishes, such as matt or gloss, available. Feet or castors can also be added if required. In addition to custom-made solutions, standard metal planters are available in various sizes.
